  1. The standby time mentioned in the User Manual is only a parameter for reference. This time is measured in a laboratory environment: the phone’s battery is fully recharged; a SIM card is installed; and network signal strength is standard. If you install a SIM card into the phone, making calls, searching webs, sending text messages, and operating other functions of the phone will consume a lot of the battery power. The standby time will be different from the time mentioned in the User Manual. This is a normal phenomenon. Please do not worry about it.
  2. Battery performance or main unit power consumption may also lead to a short standby time. In such cases, it is recommended that you bring the phone to the nearest repair service site or reseller for professional inspection.

It is recommended that you delete information that uses a lot of memory (for example, multimedia messages, pictures, ringtones, etc.) to shorten the phone’s reading time. If the operation is slow when the device is downloading ringtones, pictures, or reading information, please check the size and format of the information. Delete certain information to release some memory. This helps optimize the system and improve device stability.

. It is recommended that you use the latest version to optimize the system and improve the device’s stability

B. It is recommended that you use the latest version to optimize the system and improve the device’s stability

  • B. Battery performance or main unit power consumption may also lead to a short standby time. In such cases, it is recommended that you bring the phone to the nearest repair service site for professional inspection.
  • A. Running GPS, WLAN, WAPI, Bluetooth, mobile TV, etc. requires relatively large power consumption. Switching networks frequently in an area where signals are weak may increase the device’s transmission rate. This results in higher power consumption. For a smart phone, system software’s problem(s) may cause the phone to run a certain program all the time. This leads to the phone’s overheating.
  • B. Is the phone used for playing games or watching videos for a long time? Running high-resolution games or videos uses a lot of system resources for a long time and raises the phone’s temperature. This is a normal phenomenon.
  • C. Inspect the information of the version. You can either update the software to the latest version online or bring the phone to the nearest repair service site for professional handling.

Go to Settings > About phone > System update > Online update.

Go to Settings > About phone > Software version (Build number).

  • pressing keys does not get any response?
  • A. A phone crash is just like a computer crash. Any device operating with the support of a CPU may encounter such a problem to a greater or lesser extent. Besides, improper operation may also cause a crash. This is especially common during the operation of functional menus (for example, text messages, multimedia messages, phone book, and downloading pictures and ringtones online.) If keys are pressed too fast or too many text messages are received in a short time, the CPU will be overloaded and a crash is very likely to occur. It is recommended that users delete some pieces of information that are unnecessary and use a lot of memory. This will improve the phone’s stability.
  • B. When the phone exchanges data with the base station, the interference of external factors may cause data error(s). This may also lead to a crash. A crash often occurs during the process of calling, sending or receiving text/multimedia messages, and surfing the internet.
  • C. It is recommended that users update the system to the latest version in order to optimize the system’s data and improve the phone’s stability.
  • D. If the phone gets wet, has any seepage, was once dropped, or often works in places that have a high temperature or high-intensity magnetic field, its performance will be significantly impaired. In such cases, the phone is most likely to crash.
  • A. Inspect the installation of the third-party application in the phone because an incompatibility of the application may lead to the automatic rebooting. Uninstall the third-party application to see whether the problem will disappear.
  • B. Too much information stored in the phone’s memory overloads the CPU. Then a slow response or automatic rebooting is likely to occur. It is recommended that users delete large-sized messages to improve the phone’s performance and stability.
  • C. It is recommended that users apply the latest versions of software to optimize systematic data and improve the phone’s stability.
  • The phone’s storage capacity shown on the box and in any advertisements is its total storage capacity and in fact does exist in the phone. The total storage capacity is divided into internal storage and phone storage. Part of the capacity is used to make sure your phone is running at optimal performance levels.
  • Your device may feel warm after you’ve used it for calls, web browsing, or recharging, etc. for a while. If your device’s operating temperature makes you uncomfortable, please stop any operations on your device and contact Ulefone’s customer service or resellers for further assistance.

Please follow the tips below to optimize the usage of your device’s storage:

(*Reminder: Back up your data before you remove any contents from your device.)

  1. Via your PC: Connect your device to your PC. Open the file browser > manage & remove content in the Internal storage folder under Portable device category.
  2. Via your device:
  3. Remove contents from the Polaris Office, Gallery, and Music apps.
  4. Remove downloaded apps: Slide the notifications panel open > tap Setting > Apps > Downloaded > Tap the application you seldom use > Uninstall
  5. Remove unnecessary mails in the mail app.
  6. Make the download email interval/size as short/small as possible. (Let’s use Exchange email for an example. Slide the notifications panel open > tap Settings > Accounts & sync > tap Exchange ActiveSync > tap General settings > choose 1 day from Download past mail list & Headers only from Mail size limit list)

A hot environment can cause the device’s temperature to rise to unsafe degrees more quickly. Please make sure you do not use your device under direct sunlight. If your device gets hot and uncomfortable to the touch, please turn it off. Wait until the device cools down before you use it again.

Here are some tips for extending the battery life:

  1. Turn off the display when you’re not using it.
  2. Reduce screen brightness.
  3. Turn off wireless connections such as the data connection, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth when they are not in use.
  4. Check battery usage in Settings >Device>Battery . Tap applications not in use to stop them accordingly.
  5. Make sure there is no running app or data sync in the background. Slide the notification panel open and tap Settings > Apps. Swipe to the Running tab then tap the application you don’t use now and select Stop.

A folder can contain 2 to 16 apps. Apps moved to folders or onto the launch bar are automatically removed from the All Apps screen.

No. Apps in Custom view automatically rearrange themselves to save screen space when you move their icons around. However, you can group similar apps into convenient folders. Just drag an app over another app to create a new folder. You can choose to view the All Apps screen in either a 3 x 4 or a 4 x 5 grid size.
